Web Access to Mail
We use Google Apps for email, you can check your @Maine.edu email from a web browser here: http://gmail.maine.edu.
As of January 7th 2013, the last few mailboxes were moved to Google Apps. As of February 11th Horde web mail was removed.

UMS User Account Management
@Maine.edu email uses your UMS user account.  Your UMS user account is also used for other system-wide technology services such as Blackboard and Maine Street.

UMS Email is now hosted by Google!
During the summer of 2009, all UMS student email accounts were migrated from the Horde/IMAP system to Google Apps, Faculty and Staff migration was completed in January of 2013. More information (updated May 8, 2009).
